Los Lonely Boys Self Titled Debut CD

Los Lonely Boys

Los Lonley Boys

Ilove these guys! If you haven't made it out to see them - then shame on you! Get your butt in gear and find out where and when you can see them play - and go - cause it won't be long and these guys will be out touring and selling out major concert venues around the country and the world - and God only knows how much a ticket will cost!!

Folks around Austin have been lucky to see these boys play during the past couple of years. I remember a friend telling me about seeing them play at the Saxon Pub and how the band reminded him of Stevie Ray Vaughn. The first time I saw them was at Hanover's in Plugerville - and I was impressed. They have that universal appeal that Stevie had - and where does that universal appeal originate from? From the spirit - it is obvious that these guys are enjoying themselves and they are calling to each and every person out there listening to them - they're calling, "Come and have some fun with us!" - and who would want to resist?

I think most of us who like to see music performed live have the same desire to not only see how the band looks and to hear them play live as opposed to a studio recording, but to also EXPERIENCE the music - and Los Lonely Boys sure do take you along for that musical experience! I went to a Joe Ely concert one time with a casual girfriend and the next day she told another friend of mine that I had danced so much that I had gotten all sweaty and how that grossed her out. I love it when a band can make me shake my bootie until the sweat is glistening on my skin - and Los Lonely Boys sure do make me shake it!

I took some video of the boys playing at Blues on the Green this summer at Zilker Park and while I was filming - it hit me - how these brothers are having a blast! They reminded me of my family home movies and how we all loved to play off each other and ham it up for the camera. Watching them play - I occassionally laughed out loud, occassionally howled at the moon, and all the time felt uplifted and just plain happy! Thank you Los Lonely Boys - what a joy you are!
