At the time of this writing, I have not had the opportunity to meet Beth or to go see her perform - but I am looking forward to the day that this will no longer be true! Beth emailed me back in August. She had just checked out my site and she called it 'awesome!'. She then went on to offer herself as a performer for a Honky Tonk Angel's benefit for abused women. I knew from this - even before receiving her CD "In This Old House" that I would love her music - and after listening to this CD quite a few times since August - I can honestly say it is beautiful music with a beautiful message.

The CD was produced by Lloyd Maines and Terri Hendrix and is distributed by Beth's own label, Willo Creek Records. Her press kit says, "From an attic converted to a loft, in a 1937 German Farmhouse, Beth and her friends take orders for CDs, stuff envelopes, make radio and press calls, and then go out in the back yard to play ball with her 4 dogs. By taking control of her own musical path, she has been able to decide the direction in which her career will move, as well as stay grounded and foused on the importance of family and home". All I can say is, 'Sister, I am with you 100%!'. This too has been a year of taking control of my artistic output and I totally understand the importance of being able to do for yourself and thereby not being controlled by the egos and ulterior motives of others.

The link between Honky Tonk Angels and music is a link based in the belief that music is healing and Beth believes this too. She has manifested this belief in the music and exercise programs she has developed for the elderly.

I can tell by her CD cover that she is beautiful on the outside - and it's evident from her music that she is beautiful on the inside too! If you're ready for some good music that is also good for your soul - then go out and buy her new CD "In This Old House"!
